11 Youth Riders Compete in Vic, Spain
11 youth riders headed to Vic in Spain for this year’s competition, with 5 of the riders coming from those that train weekly at the facilities made available at Recovery First. All riders did themselves proud, however special mention for Derbyshire’s Daisy Craig taking Gold in the U13 Gurls category and Sarah Tait from Scotland riding in U16.
Whilst the boys have had multiple successes at the Youth Games over the years taking top step in one of the girls’ categories is a first. This is only the second time there have been two girls on the team, great to see the increase in participation in the sport by girls. We are sure Daisy making waves at the very top of sport will inspire others to follow.
